Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience operating and scaling SaaS solutions across public, private, and enterprise infrastructure.
- 5+ years of experience leading multiple engineering teams in high-growth or enterprise-scale environments.
- Extensive experience with AWS or another major cloud provider, including hybrid architectures.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise virtualization (e.g., VMware vSphere, Nutanix, Hyper-V, KVM).
- Proven experience driving infrastructure transformation and modernization programs.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and frameworks like AWS Well-Architected.
- Experience leading teams using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Deep experience operating containerized platforms using Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring platforms such as Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Proven ability to mentor and scale high-performing engineering teams.
- Strong business acumen with experience in financial responsibility and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
- Lead and evolve enterprise-wide cloud and infrastructure strategies in partnership with senior leadership.
- Define and execute technology roadmaps leveraging public/private cloud, virtualization, and containerization.
- Establish architecture standards and best practices for scalable, secure infrastructure platforms.
- Guide the adoption of cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes, and modern platform engineering.
- Lead and develop multiple Platform and Infrastructure Engineering teams.
- Drive infrastructure modernization, migration, consolidation, and optimization programs.
- Partner with finance, product, and engineering teams to mature FinOps practices and optimize costs.
