Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Nonprofit Management, Social Services, Education, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum five years experience managing/operating a Boys & Girls Club or similar youth-serving organization, OR seven years experience in organizational development or nonprofit consulting.
- Significant leadership experience in the nonprofit sector (e.g., CEO, COO, Executive Director, Chief of Staff).
- Demonstrated success partnering with Boards of Directors and coaching executive leaders.
- Strong business acumen, including experience interpreting financial statements and assessing organizational health.
- Exceptional relationship-building, influencing, and consulting skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and adaptability.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 70% throughout the Southeast region.
Responsibilities
- Partner with CEOs, Board Chairs, and leadership teams to strengthen organizational effectiveness and long-term strategic success.
- Build trusted relationships and provide executive coaching to enhance leadership performance.
- Support boards in building strong governance practices, increasing engagement, and advancing priorities.
- Identify opportunities to increase organizational capacity, expand community impact, and strengthen revenue growth.
- Leverage organizational assessments, performance metrics, and financial data to guide evidence-based decision making.
- Help organizations navigate change, leadership transitions, and operational challenges.
- Promote child safety standards, risk management, and organizational accountability.
- Conduct face-to-face visits across the Southeast region to ensure clubs meet key standards and receive hands-on support.
