Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in transaction-intensive roles such as Corporate Development, Investment Banking, or Private Equity.
- Proven track record of leading, structuring, and closing multiple M&A transactions, ideally in the $25M - $200M enterprise value range.
- Experience in renewable energy, technology, SaaS, or FinTech sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage external financial and legal advisors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Advanced financial modeling proficiency, including DCF and merger models.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for Board-level reporting.
- MBA from a top-tier program highly preferred.
- Deep experience in Renewable Energy Finance is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of the deal lifecycle from initial management meetings and LOI through definitive agreements and closing.
- Proactively identify and build strategic relationships with solar financiers, tax equity investors, and ESG-focused private equity firms.
- Perform advanced valuation, DCF modeling, transaction comparability analysis, and LCOE modeling for asset yields.
- Design and lead comprehensive cross-functional due diligence efforts across legal, product, engineering, and operations teams.
- Develop and manage post-merger integration (PMI) plans and formalize the company's M&A playbook for scalable acquisition.
- Present data-driven investment theses and financial rationale to the Executive Team and Board of Directors.
