Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
- 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory control, and financial analysis.
- Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience in a multi-ERP environment (e.g., Epicor, JobBoss, M2M).
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive financial accountability.
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritize work.
- Ability to work in a multi-site team environment and autonomously.
- Ability to travel up to 50% to U.S. locations.
Responsibilities
- Perform ongoing plant accounting functions including ledger balancing, month-end account analysis, reconciliations, and general ledger close.
- Ensure accurate application of cost accounting principles, inventory controls, and operational reporting.
- Review variance analysis for items impacting gross margin, including MUV and labor/burden absorption.
- Assist plant managers in interpreting operating results and provide recommendations for cost reduction and margin improvement.
- Maintain the fixed asset capitalization process and system to ensure accurate asset values and depreciation.
- Lead Margin Committee activities and track site improvements.
- Mentor and develop plant finance support teams.
- Collaborate with IT and finance systems teams to enhance ERP utilization and reporting tools.
