Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 7 - 9 years of experience in environmental consulting, A/E/C, or relevant industry.
- Proven experience building relationships and engaging with First Nations and all levels of government.
- Knowledge of impact assessment and licensing regimes for resource development in BC, Yukon, NWT, and Nunavut.
- Ability to lead multi-disciplinary projects and work effectively with teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and relevant business software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction for planning studies, environmental assessments, and permit applications.
- Lead the design and development of environmental and social impact assessment reports, including EA scoping and senior strategic document review.
- Manage multi-disciplinary technical teams to optimize project environmental design and regulatory processes.
- Interface and communicate with First Nations, government agencies, and stakeholders.
- Represent the company and clients in regulatory and community meetings and workshops.
- Monitor and disseminate information on environmental legislation and regulatory changes.
- Support business development, proposal writing, and project risk analysis.
- Conduct senior reviews of technical deliverables and provide mentorship to junior team members.
