Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 7 - 9 years of experience in environmental consulting, A/E/C, or relevant industry.
  • Proven experience building relationships and engaging with First Nations and all levels of government.
  • Knowledge of impact assessment and licensing regimes for resource development in BC, Yukon, NWT, and Nunavut.
  • Ability to lead multi-disciplinary projects and work effectively with teams.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and relevant business software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction for planning studies, environmental assessments, and permit applications.
  • Lead the design and development of environmental and social impact assessment reports, including EA scoping and senior strategic document review.
  • Manage multi-disciplinary technical teams to optimize project environmental design and regulatory processes.
  • Interface and communicate with First Nations, government agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Represent the company and clients in regulatory and community meetings and workshops.
  • Monitor and disseminate information on environmental legislation and regulatory changes.
  • Support business development, proposal writing, and project risk analysis.
  • Conduct senior reviews of technical deliverables and provide mentorship to junior team members.
