Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Mortgage, HELOC, or Home Equity Investment (HEI) servicing.
- Specialized experience in default management and loss mitigation.
- Technical knowledge of foreclosure navigation from default through final sale.
- Ability to interpret title reports to resolve complex lien issues.
- Experience conducting audits and call monitoring for subservicers.
- Strong grasp of mortgage servicing regulations.
- Ability to analyze financial data for loss mitigation planning.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) required.
- Strong skills in stakeholder management and mentorship.
- Must reside in one of the approved states: AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, KS, KY, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex defaulted Home Equity Investments to develop loss mitigation and recovery strategies.
- Manage relationships with customers, investors, attorneys, and subservicers to facilitate solutions.
- Conduct oversight and audits of subservicers to ensure performance and regulatory compliance.
- Coach and train team members on new policies, procedures, and default management workflows.
- Resolve escalated servicing requests and handle customer inquiries.
- Build and refine internal servicing policies and procedures.
- Provide reporting and status updates to investors.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve workflows and systems.
