Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
- 5+ years of experience shipping modern web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of API design and client-vs-server responsibilities.
- Experience writing automated tests using tools like Jest, Playwright, or Vitest.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Professional experience with CMS tools (e.g., Contentful, Sanity).
- Professional experience with A/B testing and analytics (e.g., Optimizely, Amplitude).
- Professional experience with server-side languages (Ruby on Rails, Python, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with caching, static, and dynamic rendering in Next.js.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and optimize primary web applications and APIs that drive global e-commerce and digital parent experiences.
- Create scalable CMS models and configuration systems designed to evolve with product roadmaps.
- Partner with Product, Design, and Mobile teams to ship features supporting the customer journey.
- Own security, reliability, and performance of the frontend stack.
- Guide technical direction by evaluating vendors and internal builds.
- Champion engineering excellence by refining technical standards and development workflows.
- Leverage AI coding tools to accelerate development while maintaining quality.
- Iterate on CI/CD pipelines and Vercel infrastructure for high-velocity delivery.
