Requirements
- Solid experience in backend software development using Node.js and Java.
- Experience working with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL and MongoDB.
- Experience handling large volumes of data and complex, high-performance queries.
- Strong understanding of modular service architectures and RESTful APIs.
- Experience implementing automated testing, version control practices with Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Previous experience working within digital product teams and agile methodologies.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex technical challenges.
- Effective communication skills with technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience in healthtech or technically complex organizations is preferred.
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, SQS, and Elastic Beanstalk is preferred.
- Experience developing solutions using AI-powered tools such as Claude, Cursor, or Codex is preferred.
- Knowledge of observability practices, monitoring solutions, and SRE principles is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop new features and enhance existing systems focusing on quality, scalability, and maintainability.
- Design and evolve software architectures, proposing structural improvements.
- Build integrations between internal and external services, including APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code following engineering best practices.
- Create and maintain automated and unit tests to ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate with product, QA, frontend, and data teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with the team.
- Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.
- Document architectures, workflows, and technical decisions.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers.
