- Experience building full products that real customers depend on.
- Strong product instincts and engineering judgment to handle ambiguity.

- Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous ideas into polished, intuitive products.
- Experience talking directly with users and incorporating feedback into product decisions.
- Track record of operating independently in early-stage or fast-moving environments.
- Proficiency in using AI tools to accelerate development without compromising quality.
- Commitment to building a company over several years.
- Nice to have: Experience as an early engineer or founder.
- Nice to have: Experience building consumer or AI-native products.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with LLMs, agents, retrieval systems, and evaluation frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Build and iterate on AI-powered tutoring and personalized learning experiences.
- Define technical architecture for student memory, intervention logic, and learning outcome measurement.
- Develop production AI systems that integrate reasoning, retrieval, evaluation, and user feedback loops.
- Design and optimize internal tooling and infrastructure to support rapid weekly shipping.
- Partner with the founder to define the product roadmap, engineering standards, and company culture.
- Collaborate directly on product design, performance, and user experience strategy.
