Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience across the full stack.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Working proficiency in Python.
- Experience building customer-facing products (not just internal tooling).
- Comfortable navigating across different layers of the technical stack.
- Experience in a fast-moving, high-growth startup environment.
- Strong instincts for production-ready code in a compliance-critical, enterprise healthcare context.
- Ability to communicate clearly with product, design, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn Python if primary experience is in other languages.
- Bonus: Experience with Java or Ruby.
- Bonus: Experience in healthcare or pharmacy domains.
- Bonus: Track record at startups that scaled from 0 to 1 and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship full-stack features end to end, from the database to the UI, for workflows like 340B compliance, intake, rebate management, and claims reconciliation.
- Partner directly with product managers and pharmacy operations experts to understand user requirements.
- Own what you ship: design it, build it, test it, deploy it, and support it in production.
- Make sound tradeoffs between speed and durability as the platform scales.
- Contribute to the technical foundation of the platform, including embedding AI into product workflows.
- Use AI tools deliberately in development and product workflows.
- Review code, contribute to design documentation, and mentor team members to raise the technical bar.
