Requirements
- Previous experience in an analyst role or in a pricing function.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must.
- Experience performing data extraction utilizing tools.
- Ability to understand business processing requirements using technology.
- Ability to conceptualize creative solutions to implement business requirements.
- Ability to work to deadlines and sustain high productivity levels.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or Analytics (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Receive, analyze, and process all incoming RFPs for cross-border, domestic Canada, and domestic USA business opportunities.
- Perform detailed costing analysis and develop pricing options for the Sales team to use in customer negotiations.
- Use various pricing scenarios to rate shipments and compare net results.
- Assist in planning, developing, and evaluating pricing strategies at macro and micro levels.
- Analyze factors impacting pricing, including volume, profit potential, and service cross-over.
- Monitor financial, sales, and activity reports to measure productivity and goal achievement.
- Support Business Development and Customer Service departments to identify growth opportunities.
- Identify target markets and track market trends to maintain competitive positioning.
- Improve pricing processes and resolve pricing inquiries and issues.
