- Strong communication skills for interacting with students and parents
- Commitment to data-driven instruction and student success
- Experience in online or brick-and-mortar teaching (preferred)
- Experience supporting students and adults with technology (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide rich and engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students
- Personalize learning for students and differentiate instruction based on mastery
- Monitor student progress and maintain grade books within the learning management system
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and learning coaches to address academic and technical needs
- Prepare students for high-stakes standardized tests
- Collaborate with administrators and teacher trainers to use data to drive instructional decisions
- Travel occasionally (average once per month or up to 20% of the time) for school functions and state testing
