Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Active state teaching license.
- Must hold one of the following Texas certifications: Business Education (6-12), Business and Finance (6-12), Secondary Industrial Arts (6-12), Secondary Industrial Technology (6-12), Technology Applications (EC-12 or 8-12), Technology Education (6-12), or Trade and Industrial Education (6-12 or 8-12).
- Ability to clear required background check.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work collaboratively to interpret and use student data to drive instructional decisions.
- Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms.
- Receptive to receiving regular coaching from administrators.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time for professional development and student testing.
- Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction.
Responsibilities
- Provide rich and engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students.
- Personalize learning and differentiate instruction based on student level of mastery.
- Monitor student progress through the learning management system and maintain the grade book.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and learning coaches to support instructional needs.
- Collaborate with the professional learning community and support project-based learning models.
- Serve as an advisor for Career & Technical Student Organizations and assist with industry partnerships.
- Administer and proctor certification assessments.
