Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics, education, or a related STEM field.
- 1+ years of teaching experience in math or experience working in a college-level tutoring center.
- GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Mastery of SAT and ACT Math subjects including Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Statistics.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and G-Suites.
- Access to a reliable internet connection.
- A dedicated workspace with minimal noise and distraction.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Instruct small core groups of students in math skills to promote understanding and exam scores.
- Track student progress through a multi-phase curriculum and manage individualized improvement plans.
- Maintain professionalism by managing student lesson schedules on an online platform.
- Spearhead the development and creative execution of lesson plans.
- Mentor middle and high school students through the competitive college application process.
