Job Details

Bachelor's degree.
Active state teaching license (Math grades 5-9).
Must reside in Indiana or obtain reciprocity within 60 days.
Ability to clear required background check.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week.
Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during the workday.
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time for professional development and student testing.
Ability to collaboratively interpret and produce numeric, tabular, and graphic representations of student data.
Experience working with the proposed age group (desired).
Experience teaching in an online or virtual environment (desired).

Modify and adapt K12 curriculum in alignment with state content standards.
Collaborate with general education teachers to meet goals for targeted students through individualized and small group sessions.
Educate parents on various instructional strategies.
Ensure implementation of the RTI instructional system to increase student achievement.
Oversee data collection and progress monitoring at every tier.
Use data to help teachers plan whole and small group instruction and provide guidance on identifying students for intervention.
Collect and maintain all RTI data, including lists of eligible students and intervention plans.
Serve as a daily resource to school administrators and stakeholders regarding RTI issues.
Collaborate with homeroom teachers, advisors, and counselors to coordinate and track Tier 2 interventions.
Provide ongoing training and support to staff regarding RTI and data collection procedures.
