Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, legal security reviews, or vendor risk management.
- Proven leadership experience managing distributed or global teams.
- Strong knowledge of SaaS security frameworks including SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, GDPR, and HIPAA.
- Direct experience with security questionnaires (SIG, CAIQ) and legal document review/redlining.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proficiency with collaboration and agile tools such as Jira, Slack, or ServiceNow.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for legal audiences.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail.
- Amenable to working US Eastern Time (EST) hours.
- Reliable high-speed internet and professional home office setup.
Responsibilities
- Supervise a global team of security analysts and reviewers, providing coaching, mentoring, and training.
- Oversee the completion and finalization of client and vendor security questionnaires such as SIG and CAIQ.
- Conduct reviews and redlining of NDAs, DPAs, MNDAs, and other security-related contractual clauses.
- Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate review cycles and improve accuracy.
- Implement agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban to manage team workload and track SLAs.
- Serve as a primary liaison to clients regarding review findings, timelines, and security recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal legal, compliance, IT, and sales departments to resolve escalations.
