Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering, SecOps, or automation roles.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Go for scripting and tooling.
- Hands-on experience with SOAR platforms (e.g., Splunk SOAR, Palo Alto XSOAR, Tines).
- Experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Google Chronicle).
- Expertise in REST API integration and event-driven architecture.
- Strong understanding of threat detection logic, such as MITRE ATT&CK and the cyber kill chain.
- Familiarity with LLM/AI APIs and prompt-driven automation workflows.
- Proficiency in version control and CI/CD practices (Git, GitHub Actions).
- Solid grasp of cloud security fundamentals (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong written documentation habits.
Responsibilities
- Design and operate SOAR playbooks and agentic AI workflows that triage, enrich, and respond to security alerts.
- Translate detection logic and AI model outputs into actionable, low-noise alerts while automating feedback loops.
- Build and maintain integrations between security tools and AI inference services using APIs and orchestration frameworks.
- Instrument automation pipelines with logging and metrics to ensure reliability of AI-driven decisions.
- Write tests for automation logic and conduct tabletop simulations to validate responses under adversarial conditions.
- Partner with AI/ML, DevSecOps, and IT teams to embed security automation into infrastructure change management workflows.
