Requirements
- Passion for and knowledge of the film and TV industry.
- Proven analytical capability to examine workflows, identify root causes, and design structured solutions.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language such as Python or JavaScript.
- Advanced spreadsheet skills including macros, formulas, and data models.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical ideas to non-technical audiences and navigate ambiguity.
- Highly organised and self-directed with the ability to maintain motivation on repetitive tasks.
- Comfort with a high-volume, fast-paced, and evolving work environment.
- Willingness to perform a stationary, computer-based role with extended screen time.
- Preparedness to review content that may include mature topics such as violence or adult themes.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality assurance on movie and TV metadata by following testing instructions and test cases.
- Ensure content review and curation adhere to project-specific quality standards, trademarks, and style guides.
- Complete assigned tasks, including repetitive work, to a high standard and on time.
- Analyse workflow data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities.
- Design, develop, and deploy automation and AI-assisted tools using approved platforms.
- Use scripting or programming languages like Python or JavaScript to build maintainable solutions.
- Create clear documentation and share knowledge with the team to support tool adoption.
