Requirements
- Master's degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
- Current and unrestricted license to practice in the state of Arizona.
- 1 year or more of experience working with children or families with developmental differences.
- Knowledge of empirically supported psychotherapy treatment approaches such as cognitive behavioral, narrative, and social-constructionism therapy.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and cross-state licensure as business needs require.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct client counseling services to families, couples, and children.
- Utilize therapeutic approaches including Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and Solution Focused Collaborative Therapy.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure wrap-around support for families.
- Participate in family care meetings with other providers.
- Maintain clinical documentation and communication in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
- Comply with HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.
