Requirements
- Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
- Current and unrestricted license to practice in the state of Arizona (LCSW).
- 1 year or more of experience working with children or families with developmental differences.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
- Well-grounded in empirical psychotherapy approaches including cognitive behavioral, narrative, and social-constructionist therapies.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Commitment to ongoing professional learning and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct client counseling services to families, couples, and children.
- Utilize therapeutic approaches such as Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and Solution Focused Collaborative Therapy.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure wrap-around support for families.
- Participate in family care meetings with other providers.
- Comply with clinic policies, state/federal regulations, and HIPAA guidelines.
- Maintain documentation and communication in line with legal, ethical, and company standards.
