Requirements
- Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
- Current, unrestricted license to practice as a therapist (LMFT, LICSW, or LMHC) in Massachusetts.
- Knowledge of various empirically supported psychotherapy treatment approaches, including cognitive behavioral and narrative therapy.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children or families with developmental differences.
- Commitment to providing exceptional client care.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct client counseling services to families, couples, and children.
- Utilize varied therapeutic approaches tailored to client needs, including Narrative Therapy, CBT, and Play Therapy.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure wrap-around support for families.
- Participate in family care meetings with other providers.
- Comply with clinic policies, licensing board regulations, and standards of care, including confidentiality and mandated reporting.
- Maintain clinical documentation in line with legal and ethical standards.
