Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (B.Sc.).
- At least 10 years of related experience in engineering or consulting for railway projects (15+ years preferred).
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience with CBTC systems, including delivery on two or more CBTC projects.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements (e.g., EN50126).
- Expertise in writing technical specifications and proposals.
- Strong leadership and decision-making qualities.
- Demonstrable project management experience (scope, schedule, budget).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical consultancy and lead technical deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
- Serve as technical lead for signal systems engineering with a focus on CBTC and signaling.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and stakeholder communication.
- Prepare project proposals, methodologies, and budget estimations.
- Support business development initiatives including client acquisition and presentations.
- Monitor market trends to identify and secure future project opportunities.
- Mentor and educate consultants and engineers on signaling and systems engineering principles.
