Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in pharmacy operations, healthcare supply chain, or a related field.
- PharmD degree is required.
- Experience owning pharmacy vendor relationships including contract negotiations and SLA management.
- Proven experience building and defending a pharmacy P&L model.
- Hands-on experience with pharmaceutical cost structures and drug acquisition.
- Understanding of compounded pharmacy (503A or 503B) and USP compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage third-party testing requirements for potency, sterility, and endotoxins.
- Strong analytical skills with experience building models and interpreting data.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own the pharmacy vendor portfolio and manage performance against SLAs.
- Develop and maintain a pharmacy cost model to track acquisition costs and budgets.
- Collaborate with clinical, product, and engineering teams on pharmacy roadmap and integrations.
- Define and improve the end-to-end member medication shipment experience.
- Ensure compliance with 503A and 503B regulatory requirements and testing standards.
- Manage inventory, capacity planning, and demand forecasting for shortage mitigation.
