Requirements
- Proven experience designing and implementing AWS-based solutions with expertise in Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, ECS, and Docker.
- Strong understanding of container security concepts, vulnerability scanning, image security, and network segmentation.
- Experience with security tools such as Sysdig Falco, Calico, or Service Mesh technologies.
- Experience managing full application stacks from operating systems through application layers.
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Experience with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat) and/or Microsoft Windows Server technologies.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS, VPNs, and secure communications.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and configuration management tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Programming or scripting experience with languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Node.js.
- Experience with version control platforms including Git, SVN, or Perforce.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across infrastructure and applications.
- Active Secret Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy AWS hosting environments using Amazon EKS, ECS, Fargate, ECR, and AWS App Mesh.
- Support cloud migration, modernization, and implementation initiatives through architectural guidance.
- Develop and troubleshoot containerized application environments and Kubernetes-based deployments.
- Create and interpret configuration scripts to automate deployments, logging, and system configuration.
- Apply advanced troubleshooting to resolve complex infrastructure, application, and networking issues.
- Support security architecture including hardening, vulnerability assessments, and remediation.
- Develop technical documentation and architecture diagrams for regulated environments.
- Research and implement emerging cloud technologies to improve scalability and security.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineering teams.
