Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of HVAC industry experience with strong knowledge of installation, service, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
  • Proven experience providing technical support, field service, or application assistance to industry professionals.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, indoor air quality products, refrigeration, condensate management, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical information and analyze real-world field problems.
  • Experience using CRM platforms, knowledge management systems, and remote support tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and modern business technologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, HVAC, or construction management (preferred).
  • NATE, EPA, ICC, Master Electrician, or Master Plumber certifications (preferred).
  • Experience with building automation, energy management, or AI-powered support tools (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical support for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, load management, and related products through phone, email, chat, video, and CRM platforms.
  • Diagnose complex product, installation, commissioning, and performance issues while maintaining ownership through resolution.
  • Support contractors, distributors, service technicians, and engineers with system-level troubleshooting and application recommendations.
  • Analyze field conditions and installation practices to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Manage technical inquiries, warranty concerns, and complaints while ensuring proper documentation.
  • Develop and deliver technical training sessions, webinars, and product education programs.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and knowledge bases.
  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to support technical selling, demonstrations, and application reviews.
  • Monitor support trends and customer feedback to provide actionable insights to engineering and quality teams.
