Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience.
- Proven experience owning products end-to-end (discovery, specs, shipping, iterating).
- Experience working with or inside a regulated institution (bank, money transmitter, or payment processor) on an API product.
- Deep experience in compliance/onboarding products (identity verification, pipelines, risk-rating).
- Deep experience in API/SDK products sold to integrators.
- Experience working directly with engineering teams on prioritization and technical decisions.
- Strong written communication skills for documentation and strategy.
- Spanish proficiency (Strong Preference).
- Portuguese proficiency (Nice-to-Have).
- Experience building risk rating/scoring programs (Strong Preference).
- Experience building onboarding for both businesses and individuals (Strong Preference).
- Experience building internal compliance/operations tooling (Strong Preference).
Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap for KYC, KYB, and onboarding systems, balancing conversion speed against compliance rigor.
- Drive strategy for the onboarding API and SDK to support seamless integration.
- Shape risk rating programs, including models and workflows for customer tiering and monitoring.
- Build internal tooling for compliance and operations teams, such as case queues, review workflows, and escalation paths.
- Organize and prioritize engineering work by writing specs, weighing tradeoffs, and unblocking execution.
- Define and track key performance metrics including onboarding conversion, time-to-approval, and operational efficiency.
