Requirements
- 6+ years in product management, technical program management, or a hybrid role, ideally on data-heavy or platform products.
- Technical fluency across SQL, APIs, data pipelines, feature flags, and AI/LLM-based systems.
- Proven ability to run multiple concurrent workstreams with clean tracking of owners, timelines, dependencies, and decision logs.
- Experience coordinating external vendors or partners, including scoping work and negotiating timelines.
- Stakeholder management skills to align senior technical partners and drive decisions without formal authority.
- Exceptional written and facilitation skills to make complex technical work legible to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to learn new domains quickly, such as nutrient ontologies or retail logic.
- Scientific literacy required; background or interest in food, nutrition, or health data is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Steward the platform roadmap while coordinating cross-functional programs including the Science computational pipeline and mobile app data surfacing.
- Partner with Science and Data teams to manage the computational scoring pipeline, ensuring every model and scoring fix has an owner and timeline.
- Translate scientific logic, scoring systems, and rules into clear product requirements to ensure consistency across the platform.
- Lead time-boxed partner engagements by aligning internal teams on scope and maintaining partner commitments.
- Support commercial efforts through demos and RFP responses to ensure momentum.
- Create comprehensive documentation including specs, user stories, and decision logs to maintain team alignment.
- Run agile ceremonies such as stand-ups and sprint planning for distributed product and data squads.
- Define acceptance criteria and execute evaluations for AI/LLM-powered features to ensure model quality.
- Represent product needs in data modeling, ingredient taxonomy, and UPC normalization efforts.
