Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in information security, security architecture, or cloud security engineering.
- Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) security, architecture patterns, and workload protection.
- Hands-on experience securing CI/CD pipelines, container security, IaC, and secrets management.
- Experience conducting threat modeling for complex, distributed systems.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, Bash/shell).
- Working knowledge of network security, including Zero Trust, firewalls, and segmentation.
- Working knowledge of identity and access management concepts (SSO, MFA, federation, least-privilege).
- Strong understanding of application security, including OWASP, API security, and secure SDLC.
- Ability to translate security requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain security architecture, including reference architectures and secure design patterns.
- Perform security architecture reviews for enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and infrastructure services.
- Conduct threat modeling and technical risk assessments to identify security gaps.
- Define and implement cloud security guardrails, network segmentation, and access control models across GCP.
- Partner with Engineering and DevOps to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines, including IaC and container security.
- Assess emerging technologies, including AI and generative AI platforms, for security risks.
- Develop security guidance for API security, application authentication, and encryption.
- Participate in security on-call rotation and incident response.
