Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- 7 to 10 years of relevant post-education experience in engineering and civil design.
- Valid Engineer license.
- Strong command of English, with good written and oral communication skills.
- Deep understanding of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD operation.
- Knowledge of NESC, RUS, and/or GO-95 standards.
- Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite.
- Ability to travel to client offices, field sites, and vendor facilities as needed.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety policies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and project execution layouts.
- Conduct weekly or bi-weekly project meetings and coordinate with clients on status.
- Maintain project workflow and communication across internal and external multidisciplinary teams.
- Forecast upcoming project requirements to assist in resource planning.
- Facilitate and adhere to QA/QC procedures.
- Support Project Managers with scope, schedule, and budget development for new projects.
- Mentor staff and support recruitment and department business planning efforts.
