Requirements
- Experience as a Lead or Senior Engineer, ideally in high-growth startups.
- Expert-level understanding of Node.js and TypeScript.
- Deep hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
- Experience architecting platforms that interact with third-party APIs.
- Knowledge of diverse authentication protocols and resilient data patterns.
- Demonstrated experience in people management and mentoring engineers.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and security audit readiness.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, security, and stability of the GCP platform.
- Manage and inspire a team of 3-5 senior and mid-level backend engineers.
- Act as the primary steward for technical cost-optimisation and resource management.
- Design robust systems to handle deep integrations with external partner APIs.
- Refine engineering practices including IaC via Terraform, CI/CD, and security audit readiness.
- Drive technical strategy in partnership with the CTO and Director of Engineering.
- Drive agentic AI workflows across the team.
