Requirements
- Deep experience in backend systems with comfort switching between languages.
- Proven track record in event-driven systems and breaking down monoliths.
- Proficiency or experience with Java/Spring, .NET, and Go.
- Practical expertise in React.
- Strong belief in robust test suites including Unit, Integration, and E2E testing.
- Strong product mindset with an ability to understand business impact.
- Experience using observability tools like Grafana.
- Commitment to mentoring team members and sharing knowledge.
- Excellent written communication skills for async collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement patterns for legacy displacement to move domains out of our monolith with zero downtime.
- Build new services and help transition others from .NET to Spring while navigating and contributing to other codebases.
- Partner with product managers to question and form requirements and help shape a roadmap that balances technical debt with new value.
- Communicate effectively across timezones through written documentation and asynchronous collaboration.
- Use Grafana and modern tracing to monitor system health and ensure backend performance.
- Leverage agentic programming tools to accelerate refactoring and development workflows.
