Requirements

  • 6–8 years of product management experience, preferably within payments, fintech, merchant services, or technology platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience managing payment products, merchant fee structures, or digital payment solutions.
  • Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, including issuers, acquirers, processors, networks, merchants, and payment facilitators.
  • Experience working with payment channels such as eCommerce, POS, IVR, and electronic check processing.
  • Familiarity with PayFac models, onboarding, authorization, settlement, reconciliation, disputes, fraud prevention, and risk management processes.
  • Experience working in Agile product development environments using methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Proven ability to convert customer and business needs into actionable product requirements and delivery plans.
  • Experience using product analytics, Microsoft Excel, and related technology tools to support decision-making.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate data, identify trends, and make informed product decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap, backlog, and delivery strategy for government payment capabilities across digital channels, including online, POS, IVR, and electronic check processing.
  • Translate customer, merchant, and internal stakeholder requirements into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead product initiatives from concept through release by partnering with engineering, UX, analytics, compliance, and operational teams.
  • Prioritize enhancements, defects, and feature investments based on customer impact, regulatory requirements, business value, and technical considerations.
  • Conduct customer discovery, analyze usage data, and gather feedback to identify opportunities for product improvements.
  • Partner with compliance, legal, and risk teams to ensure solutions align with PCI standards, regulatory obligations, and security requirements.
  • Support go-to-market activities by defining product positioning, customer value propositions, launch plans, and internal enablement materials.
