Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or advanced clinical/business degree (MBA, PharmD, MHA, MS) preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology account management, market access, or institutional network management.
- Direct experience launching new products or complex biologics within highly specialized therapeutic categories.
- Documented, active access to pharmacy directors, medical directors, and decision-makers within major national health systems or IDNs.
- Deep operational knowledge of buy-and-bill biologics and pathway-to-acquisition dynamics (ASP, WAC, 340B).
- Proven capability to coordinate multiple complex tasks and guide cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market priorities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Ability to travel up to 60% for account meetings and corporate planning.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute account-specific strategies to drive access, formulary inclusion, and utilization growth.
- Conduct payer and institutional market intelligence to analyze evolving healthcare delivery and economic models.
- Cultivate senior-level relationships with institutional decision-makers including C-suite, medical directors, and P&T committee members.
- Lead complex institutional contract negotiations and manage the full contract lifecycle.
- Navigate complex buy-and-bill mechanics, medical benefit structures, and 340B pricing models.
- Coordinate cross-functional matrix teams including Medical Affairs, Sales, and Market Access to execute pull-through strategies.
- Ensure total compliance with federal and state laws, including anti-kickback statutes and the Sunshine Act.
