Requirements
- 7+ years of experience managing engineering teams and developing high-performing technical organizations.
- Previous experience as a UI engineer with strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Redux, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Experience leading Agile teams and collaborating within product-focused engineering environments.
- Proven ability to mentor engineers, create growth opportunities, and foster a culture of quality and accountability.
- Experience using design tools such as Figma and supporting scalable design systems.
- Ability to contribute hands-on to development activities, technical discussions, troubleshooting, and incident resolution when required.
- Strong communication, leadership, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong initiative and commitment to delivering high-quality products.
- Experience in cybersecurity, threat detection, threat intelligence, or industrial control systems security is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in software engineering, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to a team of UI engineers while supporting career growth and skill development.
- Define and execute the vision for user interface development, ensuring alignment with broader engineering goals and product strategies.
- Collaborate with product managers, technical leads, and engineering teams to deliver consistent, high-quality user experiences.
- Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, performance optimization approaches, and scalable development processes.
- Support software design, development, testing, release activities, and production troubleshooting when needed.
- Ensure successful delivery of projects while balancing innovation, technical debt management, and operational requirements.
- Build strong engineering communities by encouraging collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
- Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and recommend improvements to enhance development practices.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain and evolve scalable design systems and UI frameworks.
