Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Network Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
- Expert knowledge of network automation using Ansible, Terraform, and Python.
- Strong experience with network automation libraries like Netmiko, Nornir, or NAPALM.
- Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes networking, CNIs, and service mesh concepts.
- Extensive experience with enterprise networking hardware (Cisco Nexus, Arista, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
- Deep Linux networking expertise including eBPF, iptables, and kernel-level routing.
- Advanced knowledge of routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and EVPN.
- Experience designing and scaling CI/CD platforms like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with packet analysis tools like tcpdump and Wireshark.
- Proven track record of technical leadership and mentoring.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, engineer, and maintain highly scalable CI/CD pipelines for automated network testing and zero-downtime deployments.
- Drive Network-as-Code adoption by establishing GitOps workflows and managing infrastructure through source control.
- Develop reusable automation frameworks and playbooks using Python and Bash to reduce manual operations.
- Design and optimize SDN solutions and container networking environments across cloud and bare-metal infrastructures.
- Act as a technical expert for complex routing, networking, and overlay infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Build telemetry, monitoring, and automated remediation capabilities to improve network visibility.
- Collaborate with SRE, security, and platform teams to implement resilient, multi-tenant network solutions.
