Requirements
- 3 to 4 years of experience in database administration or a related technical role.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server troubleshooting, including Always On, Failover Cluster Manager, replication, and performance tuning.
- Experience writing T-SQL scripts and analyzing stored procedures and SQL code.
- Ability to diagnose technical issues involving databases, applications, and system infrastructure.
- Good understanding of Windows Server environments, server logs, storage systems, printing services, and IIS web services.
- Knowledge of Active Directory is preferred.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts is an advantage.
- Familiarity with SQL Server backup and recovery strategies is preferred.
- Experience working with enterprise software environments is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively with technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot SQL Server issues including Always On availability groups, Failover Cluster Manager, performance problems, SQL Server Agent jobs, and replication.
- Analyze and resolve database-related incidents from both system and application perspectives.
- Write and review T-SQL scripts and analyze stored procedures and database code.
- Monitor database performance and implement improvements to maintain reliability and efficiency.
- Support SQL Server backup, recovery, and maintenance activities.
- Investigate Windows Server logs, storage systems, printing services, and IIS web services issues.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and support teams to identify and resolve technical challenges.
- Maintain operational documentation and follow best practices for database administration.
- Assist with enterprise software support and ensure database environments meet business requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to database stability and system performance.
