Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management.
- At least 3 years of experience leading and developing procurement teams.
- Proven success managing category strategies and sourcing initiatives.
- Strong experience with supplier negotiations, contract management, cost analysis, and market research.
- Ability to analyze complex data to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Familiarity with procurement technologies, such as Coupa, sourcing platforms, and spend analytics systems.
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and execution of category management and strategic sourcing strategies.
- Partner with procurement leadership to establish enterprise category strategies.
- Present sourcing recommendations, supplier strategies, and business cases to senior leadership.
- Manage, coach, and develop category management team members.
- Apply market intelligence and data analysis to optimize supplier relationships.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve performance, and enhance value.
- Lead supplier negotiations and contract renewals in collaboration with legal and business teams.
