Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in SaaS renewals, account management, customer success, sales, or related commercial roles.
  • Proven experience managing customer portfolios, renewal cycles, negotiations, and commercial agreements.
  • Strong customer-first mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships.
  • Excellent understanding of SaaS commercial processes, including pricing, deal structures, and contracting.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of legal and contractual principles related to software agreements.
  • Ability to quickly understand complex products and customer needs to create effective renewal strategies.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Proficiency with business applications including Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, globally distributed environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, technology, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of customer renewals, ensuring timely execution of renewal processes, contract completion, and revenue retention objectives.
  • Partner directly with customers through virtual meetings, email, phone, and other communication channels to guide them throughout the renewal cycle.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, and other go-to-market teams to deliver a smooth renewal experience, particularly for opportunities involving expansions or additional solutions.
  • Lead renewal negotiations, resolving commercial challenges and aligning customer needs with business objectives.
  • Support customer transitions from legacy offerings to newer solutions by analyzing customer environments and developing strategic conversion approaches.
  • Respond to customer and internal stakeholder questions related to contracts, renewal processes, pricing, and commercial topics.
  • Review and interpret contract terms, partnering with finance, legal, and deal support teams to ensure accurate agreements and policy compliance.
  • Prepare and process standard and complex renewal quotes, automated renewal notifications, and customer orders using CRM systems.
  • Maintain accurate renewal forecasts and provide visibility into upcoming opportunities through reliable pipeline management.
