Requirements
- CA or CPA qualified (or nearing completion).
- 2+ years' post-qualification experience in financial or management accounting.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Expertise in AASB 16 lease accounting and multi-entity/consolidated reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with Xero, Microsoft Business Central, or similar ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage operational and external stakeholders.
- Proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in leveraging AI and automation for finance processes.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial processes across group entities, including reconciliations and GL management.
- Maintain accruals, prepayments, journal entries, and the fixed asset register.
- Manage end-to-end AASB 16 lease accounting and partner with property teams on lease variations.
- Lead venue-level budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Act as a finance business partner to operations teams, conducting P&L reviews and performance analysis.
- Oversee insurance programs, broker relationships, and compliance.
- Manage banking relationships, bank guarantees, and payment provider processes.
- Execute month-end close and prepare reporting for management and stakeholders.
- Support annual audits, internal controls, and finance process automation initiatives.
