Requirements
- 7+ years of sales experience, with significant experience in public sector and labor healthcare benefits.
- Proven success managing and closing long, complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding large annual or multimillion-dollar quotas.
- Deep understanding of the healthcare benefits landscape for public sector and labor purchasers.
- Demonstrated consultative selling skills, including quantifying business impact and aligning solutions.
- Established credibility with consultants, brokers, TPAs, carriers, and industry influencers.
- Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, and storytelling skills.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM systems with disciplined pipeline management.
- Strong references from past clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Willingness to travel domestically as needed.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a regional go-to-market strategy for public sector, labor, and multi-employer groups.
- Build and manage executive-level relationships with HR, procurement, union leadership, and trustees.
- Lead multi-threaded sales cycles involving internal and external stakeholders to drive consensus and contract closure.
- Cultivate partnerships with consultants, brokers, TPAs, carriers, and health plan account teams.
- Identify and pursue expansion opportunities within existing client accounts to increase revenue.
- Maintain disciplined CRM documentation, pipeline management, and forecasting accuracy.
- Contribute to the improvement of sales frameworks, playbooks, and RFP-driven processes.
- Serve as a regional ambassador for the company mission at industry events and conferences.
