Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a mature software engineering team.
- Deep technical expertise in at least one programming language (Kotlin or Ruby).
- Experience working with relational databases (e.g., Postgres).
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering robust, scalable code.
- Demonstrated track record of measurable impact in previous technical roles.
- High level of drive and proactivity in overcoming technical hurdles.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high engineering standards.
- Degree in a STEM subject is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Define technical solutions and contribute to architectural vision for a global research platform.
- Develop and maintain microservices primarily using Kotlin, with some legacy Ruby on Rails applications.
- Manage CI/CD workflows using CircleCI and Spinnaker to release features frequently.
- Monitor services and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and performance.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices within the team.
- Align team development efforts with the broader AlphaSights Engineering strategy.
