Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working in a mature engineering team.
- Strong technical expertise in at least one programming language (Kotlin or Ruby experience preferred).
- Experience working with relational databases, specifically Postgres.
- Demonstrable track record of high-impact contributions in previous roles.
- Proven ability to work proactively and independently to solve complex problems.
- Meticulous approach to work with high attention to detail.
- STEM degree preferred or equivalent practical experience.
- Capacity to work in a cross-functional team environment.
Responsibilities
- Define technical solutions and contribute to architectural vision for a research platform.
- Develop and maintain Kotlin microservices and legacy Ruby on Rails services.
- Ship working code frequently using CircleCI and Spinnaker for CI/CD.
- Monitor services, diagnose root causes, and deploy fixes to ensure system stability.
- Mentor junior engineers and align development with engineering strategy.
