Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience building and operating production applications.
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with modern mobile/frontend development (React Native, Expo, React Query, Zustand, SQLite).
- Solid understanding of relational data modeling, PostgreSQL, caching, and API design.
- Experience with cloud-native delivery (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Argo CD, AWS, CI/CD).
- Experience with offline-first applications and synchronization engines.
- Experience with native mobile capabilities and hardware integrations (receipt/kitchen printers).
- Familiarity with payment processing, e-invoicing, and fiscalization.
- Strong product sense with domain knowledge of hospitality or F&B operations.
- Business-level English fluency with strong written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and operate the next generation of Cloudbeds' point-of-sale experience.
- Develop offline-first capabilities to ensure continuity during connectivity issues.
- Maintain Python/FastAPI backend services supporting staff workflows, orders, and payments.
- Own end-to-end changes across application code, infrastructure, and deployment configurations.
- Ensure observability, automated testing, and performance for critical hospitality workflows.
- Collaborate across Product, Design, Payments, Accounting, and Infrastructure teams.
