Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience building, shipping, and operating production applications.
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with modern mobile or frontend development, specifically React Native and Expo.
- Experience building offline-first applications and synchronization engines.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including maintainable architecture, testing, and debugging.
- Solid understanding of relational data modeling, PostgreSQL, caching, and API design.
- Experience with cloud-native delivery using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with payment processing, e-invoicing, and fiscalization is highly relevant.
- Business-level English fluency with strong written communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate customer-facing POS experiences across React Native, Expo, TypeScript, and Python services.
- Develop offline-first capabilities using SQLite and conflict-handling patterns for connectivity resilience.
- Build and maintain Python/FastAPI backend services supporting hospitality workflows like menus, orders, payments, and receipts.
- Design reliable APIs, data models, and caching strategies using PostgreSQL and Valkey.
- Own observability, automated testing, security, and production support for critical POS workflows.
- Collaborate across POS application, backend, infrastructure, and deployment layers using Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Argo CD.
