Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required (College degree preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in a mid-size brokerage or carrier.
- Active Fire and Casualty Broker License.
- Valid Driver License.
- Demonstrated experience with Agency Management Systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Full knowledge of Property & Casualty lines of coverage.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Process applications, policies, endorsements, binders, certificates, and audit requests.
- Assist clients with policy coverage, exclusions, and general inquiries.
- Conduct the renewal process including exposure analysis, market comparisons, and premium negotiations.
- Prepare presentations and proposals for prospective and current clients.
- Maintain accurate client files and documentation in the Agency Management System.
- Educate clients on coverage needs and policy changes.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to determine marketing strategies and target pricing.
