Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Electronics.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience in technical support, design function, or distribution.
- Extensive product and technical knowledge within the distribution industry.
- Experience in NBO (New Business Opportunity) identification and development.
- Strong organizational, project management, and methodical working skills.
- Excellent presentation, mentoring, and negotiation skills.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- High skill level in all relevant IT systems and MS Office applications.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record insurable by the company.
- Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time, depending on assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Create new designs at targeted customers through product positioning and supplier strategy implementation.
- Execute the design-in of focus products into end customer applications in collaboration with outside sales teams.
- Monitor project progress and activity using internal CRM (CAM) and OMS tools.
- Drive new business demand creation and conduct design reviews with local suppliers.
- Provide technical support for sales teams and Branch Product Managers.
- Undertake regular product training with suppliers and customers.
- Prioritize key projects and evaluate potential new customers to maximize design conversion.
