Requirements
- 4–8+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through launch.
- Experience in energy, utilities, or B2B2C environments.
- Proven track record of building processes and operational frameworks.
- Familiarity with virtual power plants (VPPs), demand response, and distributed energy resources (DERs).
- Understanding of dispatch mechanics, enrollment design, and operational scalability.
- Strong documentation discipline (SOPs, runbooks, process flows, launch frameworks).
- Technical fluency to work closely with Product and Engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools like Notion or Jira.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex discussions into executive-ready narratives.
Responsibilities
- Lead intake and scoping for new VPP programs from concept through operational design.
- Drive implementation readiness across commercial and technical teams by owning the critical path and tracking dependencies.
- Define success metrics, performance baselines, and reporting frameworks for new programs.
- Document operational architecture including SOPs, runbooks, and process flows.
- Facilitate launch reviews and manage stakeholder sign-offs for go/no-go decisions.
- Define handoff criteria from launch to steady-state and ensure downstream teams can operate independently.
- Conduct post-launch health checks and gather feedback to inform continuous improvement.
