Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in technical project or program management roles.
  • 5+ years of experience managing external client relationships and enterprise engagements.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical projects from initiation through completion.
  • Strong expertise in project planning, risk management, issue escalation, stakeholder communication, and executive reporting.
  • Experience working within consulting, professional services, cloud delivery, or technology implementation environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity operations including SecOps, SOC/NOC, vulnerability management, incident response, disaster recovery, and continuous monitoring.
  • Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, CMMC, SOC, ISO, HIPAA, HITRUST, and PCI.
  • Experience with Agile, hybrid, or iterative delivery methodologies.
  • Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Tableau, MS Project, or Visio.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical projects throughout the full lifecycle, managing scope, timelines, budgets, resources, dependencies, risks, and issue resolution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal delivery teams, ensuring clear communication and strong customer relationships.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including leadership, architects, engineers, operations, sales, and quality teams to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Manage project schedules, facilitate status meetings, track milestones, and provide executive-ready reporting.
  • Identify project risks, technical challenges, and delivery concerns while developing mitigation strategies and escalation plans.
  • Support cloud design, build, and managed operations engagements by ensuring alignment with technical and business objectives.
  • Improve project management processes through automation, workflow optimization, documentation, and best practice development.
  • Create and maintain project artifacts, training materials, and delivery standards to enhance operational consistency.
  • Advise clients on cybersecurity principles, compliance requirements, and technology best practices.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to provide strategic recommendations.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to the development of technical delivery capabilities.
