Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field with 20+ years of experience, or a Master's/Doctoral degree with 18+ years of relevant experience.
- Extensive experience leading complex, large-scale field service organizations and managing multi-level leadership teams.
- Strong expertise in customer support operations, service contracting, field service management, and commercial service strategies.
- Solid understanding of the medical diagnostics, life sciences, or healthcare technology industries.
- Proven track record in P&L ownership, operational leadership, and driving revenue growth across large service organizations.
- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior customer leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead transformation initiatives, improve operational efficiency, and build high-performing teams.
- Previous experience in medical laboratories or diagnostic environments is considered a strong advantage.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee a nationwide field technical service organization, including service operations, dispatch, and coordination teams across multiple regions.
- Define and execute strategic objectives that align customer needs with commercial priorities and long-term business goals.
- Own the service business P&L, ensuring profitability, efficient resource allocation, and sustainable revenue growth.
- Develop and implement customer support strategies that enhance retention, service quality, and business expansion opportunities.
- Build and maintain executive relationships with key customer accounts while leading strategic business reviews and service discussions.
- Partner cross-functionally with sales, finance, and operations teams to improve service delivery and customer experience.
- Direct the coordination center responsible for issue resolution, escalation management, and efficient service execution.
- Contribute to corporate strategic planning initiatives and continuously improve service processes, operational performance, and organizational capabilities.
