Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong backend development experience with Java (Java 17+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Maven) and Python.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including ECS Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, SSM Parameter Store, and Secrets Manager.
- Experience designing, developing, and operating distributed systems and microservices in production environments.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, Docker, AWS CDK, and monitoring tools.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design principles, and computational complexity.
- Proven ability to debug and resolve complex, time-sensitive production issues.
- Experience working with Agile development practices and continuous improvement processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services, REST APIs, and cloud-based functions supporting payment processing and transaction management systems.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to maintain platform stability.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, improve system resilience, and reduce operational incidents through proactive engineering practices.
- Collaborate with product teams, vendors, and external partners to resolve integration challenges and optimize transaction flows.
- Contribute to new feature development, platform enhancements, and modernization initiatives.
- Identify and address technical debt while ensuring maintainable, secure, and scalable architecture.
- Promote best practices across software development, testing, code reviews, and deployment processes.
- Support continuous improvement through Agile methodologies, engineering excellence, and effective technical communication.
